Join the 6-month Psychology Career Launch Programme
Fresh out of your psychology undergrad? Keep getting rejected from Assistant Psychologist roles? I created an intensive programme to give you consistent guidance and mentorship, something I wish I had as a recent graduate myself, helping you navigate the notoriously competitive UK psychology career pathway.
This is for you if you are…
✔️ A fresh psychology graduate applying for assistant psychologist or similar roles
You've done the degree, maybe some volunteering or paid work, but you're not getting shortlisted. You want someone to show you exactly what's missing and how to present your experience more effectively.
✔️ An aspiring psychologist preparing doctorate applications
You're working toward DClinPsy, DEduPsy or DCounsPsych but the process feels overwhelming. You want guidance on timelines, personal statements, research proposals, and how to position yourself as a strong candidate.
✔️ A graduate navigating multiple unsuccessful application cycles
You've been applying for jobs or doctorates for months (or years) with limited success. You're tired of generic advice and want specific, actionable feedback on what you're doing wrong and how to fix it.
✔️ An international psychology graduate applying for UK roles or degrees
You're navigating an unfamiliar system, NHS structures, UK application formats, person specifications, etc. You want someone who understands both the UK pathway and the challenges of applying from outside.
✔️ A career changer transitioning into psychology
You've got life experience, maybe a previous career, and you're committed to psychology. But you're not sure how to present non-traditional experience or what steps to take next.

The upside of a longer-term commitment
Breaking into psychology takes time, and I have noticed through coaching dozens of aspiring psychologists that most people need several months of consistent applications and feedback before they start seeing results. Unfortunately, that's just the reality of how competitive the field is.
Over an intensive 6 months, I'll support you to build the skills that actually make you competitive: learning to articulate your experience clearly, understanding what hiring committees/universities are really looking for, developing reflective practice that shows clinical maturity, and understanding where to focus your energy for the best results. This is an investment (and a highly cost-effective one compared to booking these services as one-offs) in your development that transforms you from someone who keeps getting rejected to someone who actually lands offers.

Who you’ll be working with
I'm Melisa, a BACP Reg. Psychotherapist, BPS Community Champion and final-year Trainee Counselling Psychologist at City St George’s, University of London. I achieved a 100% success rate in doctorate applications on my first go, and received three offers from 16 Assistant Psychologist applications. Now, I help dozens of graduates secure Assistant Psychologist and other NHS roles, and gain places on competitive psychology doctorate programmes through tailored coaching and in-depth guides.

Yes, you have 6 sessions to use however works best for you during your programme period. Most people will space them monthly, others cluster them around application deadlines or interview periods.
Just keep in mind that most people benefit from consistent support rather than cramming everything into a short period.

Just let me know at least 24 hours in advance and we'll reschedule at no charge. Life happens! If it's less than 24 hours, that session counts as used.
-
All sessions must be used within your programme period. They don't roll over or extend beyond your end date.
-
You have 14 days from purchase to get a full refund if you haven't used any sessions yet. After your first session, you've committed to the programme and no refunds are available.
I know that might feel like a big commitment, but breaking into the field genuinely takes sustained effort. The people who commit fully and consistently are the ones who (usually) see results.
