Helping psychology graduates become psychologists

The path to a psychology career in the UK is incredibly competitive, but with the right support, it doesn't have to feel impossible. I'm Melisa, a Trainee Counselling Psychologist and I've helped dozens of aspiring psychologists secure competitive NHS roles and spots on psychology doctorates, and I want to do the same for you!

This is for you if…

✔️ You're staring at a list of psychology roles and have no idea which path is actually right for you

✔️ You keep rewriting your supporting statement, but still aren't sure it's good enough and want someone to tell you honestly

✔️ You're applying for roles beyond just AP — support worker, HCA, PWP, mental health practitioner, and want support that meets you where you are

✔️ You're an international applicant trying to make sense of a system nobody has properly explained to you

✔️ You know you have the experience but something keeps holding you back from believing you're a strong enough candidate

✔️ You're preparing for a Master's or doctorate application, DClinPsy, DCounsPsy, or otherwise, and need support on your personal statement, research proposal, or interview

✔️ You're tired of feeling like you're guessing your way through your career and want a clear, honest plan for what to do next

A bit about me

Hello!

I'm Melisa, a BACP Reg. Psychotherapist, BPS Community Champion and final-year Trainee Counselling Psychologist at City St George’s, University of London. I’m half Puerto Rican and half Turkish, grew up in Belgium, and have lived in the UK for the last 10 years (true third culture kid!)

My coaching approach draws from coaching psychology principles and my own proven success: I achieved a 100% success rate in doctorate applications and received three offers from just 16 Assistant Psychologist applications.
